Great place to get fresh sashimi bowls! Recommend the Bluefin Tuna Chutoro & Negi-Toro bowl. The salmon quality is also very good too

You know you loved a restaurant when you couldn't help but smile through the whole meal. The food was delicious, very fairly priced given its ingredients, and the staff/service were very kind. I ordered the chirashi bowl, which contained an assortment of different fish, roe, and tamago. The flavors were so distinct and fresh. Highly recommend visiting if you're in town and love rice bowls or sashimi.

This restaurant was delicious and authentic to true Japan flavors. I had the Kaisen-don. It was great. I was blown away by the Karage!! It was tender and not greasy. By my standards, perfect. My wife had the Bara-Chirashi cut. She enjoyed it. We also sampled the Ribeye steak bowl (took most of it home as we were full by then. That turned out to be my wife's favorite dish. The server brought the respectful and pleasant Japan feeling. We have to come back for the full dinner menu. Note: they only serve a limited, bowl-centric menu before 5pm.

Delicious and super fresh tuna. The soba was also really on point. Will definitely be coming back again when I'm in the mood for sashimi. The o Toro and the tuna charaishi were very tasty and fresh as well. Highly recommended

Came in for a quick dinner, I usually come here for the Chutoro & Negitori bowl but decided to try something new and ordered their US Angus Ribeye and it was perfection. The staff are very attentive and provided quick service.

Excellent sushi restaurant in Torrance. The fish is very fresh and expertly prepared. Reasonable prices. It gets crowded at lunch, but the do a nice job of turning tables over without making you feel rushed.

I am reviewing based only on the chirashi, which is excellent. My favorite is the bara chirashi - it is a gorgeous bowl of fish and rice. So so satisfying and sits well in the belly.

We enjoyed the best hamachikama that we've ever had! The omakase sashimi dinner was beautifully arranged and delicious. The chawanmushi was perfectly steamed and enjoyed. Every single dish was excellent. Service was great as well. Definitely worthy of five stars all around!

Wadatsumi has a nice mix of different Japanese options - my wife almost always gets a sashami type bowl or offering, but this time I went off the reservation and tried the beef katsu curry w/ rice, which was quite good, although not the best in the area and I like it a bit spicier (and bigger!). Inside is nice and simple tables - a bit close together perhaps but altogether clean and nice. The sashimi items are all good here and never disappoint though so probably stick to those items in the future. Note they will refill your white rice bowl for free if you're a voracious rice eater, so go ahead and don't feel the need to pace yourself with the rice! Also I noticed the lunch specials looked like a good affordable deal so that' something to consider for the next time!

Came here for dinner with some friends for the first time. The inside of the restaurant is very cute and clean, lots of seating indoors but none outside. The menu selection was large and everything we ordered tasted extremely fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and took our orders quickly. Once the orders were in the food came out in a timely manner. I definitely would go back here to try more of the menu again!
